A friend of mine has asked for some help in decorating their kids bedroom. I think the key to a well decorated childs bedroom is making sure it is bright and cheery with an element of surprise. This half moon wallpaper would work well as a backdrop to then layer on some colourful accessories. Painted furniture and colourful pictures would sit nicely in front of this monochrome paper. Here are a few other pictures for inspiration.

childhood memoeries.
Do you remember having one of those cardboard dolls that you could dress up and fold the tabs over to keep the clothes on her? I loved it... and now here is a modern day version created by Love Mae. They have loads of other stickers for children to get creative with - check out the website.

a home for books.
One of my dreams is to have a bookshelf so large that I need a ladder! I have so many books and magazines scattered around my home that it would make things a lot simpler if I had one huge bookshelf covering an entire wall - not only will it mean I can organise my books but it also adds a great focus point to a room. There are so many options when creating bookcases whether it be an entire wall, spread over two floors, framing a window, around a door frame or even as a door.

tuesday treasures.

Rockett St George is a regular online visit for me and they have just got some new stock in. Check out this bookshelf wallpaper in white - perfect for keeping a clean feel to a room whilst adding a bit of extra detail or I think it would work well as a backdrop to a variety of colourful eams chairs.

ways to wallpaper.

It's great to experiment with wallpaper. You don't need to wallpaper a whole room, instead you can use accents of it around the room - whether that be above a picture rail, in the back of a cupboard or just a strip behind the headboard. Also by using the wallpaper in smaller sections it can allow you to choose a really dramatic pattern that you might not have necessarily picked if you were doing the whole room.

exposed brick inspiration.
I just adore the detailing in the brick work making this interior that little bit extra special.

Mixing exposed brick and plaster work creates an urban edgy feel to this interior. Love the antlers as well!
I think this painted brick wall works really well with the exposed beams.
