Getting down low.

I have recently worked on a flooring shoot for UK Flooring Direct which was great fun although I discovered I need to invest in some knee pads as there was a lot of low level styling! Here are a few of the images that we created... as well as a behind the scenes snap of me standing in a bin lid wetting my feet ready to jump out and create some water splashed on the vinyl flooring to show it is waterproof... such a glamorous life being a stylist! hehe.

The new year has brought some new clients and I have recently styled a shoot for sofa.com which I am excited to see that two of the images are up of their website. The shoot took place at gorgeous location house just outside of London and to top it off they had an adorable puppy called Hector - although he was a Great Dane so he was taller than me!

Sorry for the absence from my blog - things have been a little hectic lately. I wanted to share some of my latest work for Ideal Home magazine with you. Quite a variety of colours and styles - even managed to squeeze in some of my photographs from my year away travelling!

a room for a little one.

A friend of mine has asked for some help in decorating their kids bedroom. I think the key to a well decorated childs bedroom is making sure it is bright and cheery with an element of surprise. This half moon wallpaper would work well as a backdrop to then layer on some colourful accessories. Painted furniture and colourful pictures would sit nicely in front of this monochrome paper. Here are a few other pictures for inspiration.

I thought I would share my latest shoot for Ideal Home which is on the shelves now… I really enjoyed designing this room set as I have a soft spot for grey! Hope you like it.

latest work.

Just thought I would post an image from a photo shoot I did recently. This bookcase and dinning table was created by a furniture manufacturer who then asked me to style the interior for their portfolio. So I kept it quite simple and just turned the books the other way round on the shelves to create a neutral look and bring the focus to the furniture. Would love to know what you all think.
