We are moving house... hopefully quite soon... all in limbo land at the moment... but I can't help getting excited about the potential house and having a studio space all to myself! One of the things that I have neglected in my current working space is good lighting - I just stumble on through the evening with just the light from my laptop. Things need to change so I am on the hunt for a nice desk lamp... I've been looking into it and found these lovely desk lights or hanging lights that I could create a hook and have a pendant at the side of my desk... decisions decisions!

I am working on my next coastal shoot and thought I would share some of my inspiration. I am getting very jealous of all these beautiful homes in the sun! I love the anchor wallpaper and rope accessories.

The online shop Rowen & Wren is full of beautiful products to suit any home. On my wish list this week are these ceramic apples and pears in white or lichen grey - they would look perfect on my dressing table at home!

Tim Walker is a creative genius and one of my favorite photographers of all time! I find this image so amazingly stunning I have it on my pin board so that it can inspire me each day.

I went into a card shop today and found the fantastically funny cards, by Hazel Bee, I just had to buy this one ... now I just need to find a frame as it is going straight up on my wall so I can look at it everyday and giggle!

guilty pleasures.

The perfect sunday afternoon - full of guilty pleasures! My local tea shop 'The Mock Turtle' sells the most amazing treats.. I went in with good intentions and had pouched egg on toast but then could not resist one of the bursting doughnuts as a desert!

This week has been so sunny and it actually looks like it will last for the bank holiday weekend which excites me to no end! This weekend my plans are to spend Friday on the beach... then go for a long bike ride (as I am doing the London to Brighton bike ride later this year and have not yet practiced!) relax with friends and finally have my summer weekend guilty pleasure of an ice cream on the beach. Pia Jane Bijkerk's photography sums this up perfectly.

Just visited MADE brighton craft fair yesterday and it was full of inspiration. Two of my favorite stands were Martha Mitchell's detailed illustrations and Rececca J Coles jaw dropping paper butterfly displays.

Hi all, sorry I have been off the radar for a while. Visited the gala evening of the Country Living Fair last week which was brilliant. Here are just a few of the gorgeous products on sale that I saw. I managed to restrain myself and only brought one basket and one vase - even though they were handing out FREE wine!

never a dull day.

One of the many things I enjoy about living in Brighton is always seeing something new! Today I was out in town purchasing some accessories for a photo shoot I am doing next week and as I walked around the corner there was a dog on a skateboard! Yes a DOG on a skateboard! How cute. x

it's that time of year again.

I have never understood why Christmas adverts and decorations hit the high streets before we have had halloween! However I just came across these cookie cutters and just had to share them! I think they are great what a perfect way to serve tea and biscuits! Now I just need to set an afternoon aside to make them.

it's good to be naughty.

A little naughty but I absolutely ADORE this illustration. I really want Tilly to put this design on a mug so it can make me smile every day.

knitted food.

I begged and begged my boyfriend to get me this cushion ... and he finally did! I am soooo happy - he could not believe a cushion could be worth £45 but trust me it is! And now this is the one cushion that we fight over when watching a movie! I also LOVE Kate Jenkins knitted food - especially these sardines on toast.
