Dancing shoes.

Cocktails and dancing shoes were in abundance at the Savoy hotel for their Fairmount Cocktail evening. I absolutely loved styling this 1920's event with all it's glamour... ostrich feathers, velvet curtains, oversized floral displays and chandeliers dripping with jewels. Here are a few pictures I took whilst we were still setting up before all the lights were dimmed and candles lit.

At the end of last year I was working on a photoshoot for Victoria and Albert baths. It was great fun designing these rooms from scratch and getting to use some gorgeous tiles from Fired Earth. I especially love the glass mosaic tiles - you can check them out here.

Dare to be different.

I felt inspired by my recent carpet shoot.... I too often go for the safe option and am now trying to be more daring within my own home! Here are some images from my shoot to hopefully encourage you to also be a little more experimental.

I have recently styled a book called 'The Perfume Bible' where I had to photograph 100 perfume bottles in three days! Busy busy busy..... Here are some of the results.

craft corner.

Lately I have been doing a lot of craft shoots. I love making all the different items - although not so sure Garth is too happy when he comes home to find me mixing concrete in the living room, or spraying furniture in the hallway... oh well! hehe. I've now done quite a few craft videos for house to home - they are great fun to make and I am sure this time next year I will be a millionaire if I sent all the outtakes off to You've Been Framed!
