christmas dinning.

Add drama to your Christmas dinning with these gorgeous oversized flowers from habitat. Here is a little illustration of an idea I had for a Christmas table with an impact. I love the contrast of cerise on a white background - what are your plans for your Christmas table?

made brighton craft fair.

Just visited MADE brighton craft fair yesterday and it was full of inspiration. Two of my favorite stands were Martha Mitchell's detailed illustrations and Rececca J Coles jaw dropping paper butterfly displays.

country living fair.

Hi all, sorry I have been off the radar for a while. Visited the gala evening of the Country Living Fair last week which was brilliant. Here are just a few of the gorgeous products on sale that I saw. I managed to restrain myself and only brought one basket and one vase - even though they were handing out FREE wine!

space.

I love the bold use of space in Max Wangers photos. Maybe one day he could take my Wedding photos?!?

paper decoration.

Paper decorations - sound so simple but really do create such an impact. These heart decorations would look so cute in a little girls room and the paper place mats inspired by children's pop-up books would be the perfect table decoration. Also I had to include this stunning paper necklace by BlushEnvy - definitely on my Christmas wish list.

it's the weekend.

It's finally the weekend. It's been a manic week with two photo shoots and lots of other work going on and this weekend is the first in many that I wont be working all the hours under the sun! I have a nice little relaxed photo shoot tomorrow morning and then I am off into town to buy myself a pair of winter boots - no doubt I will come home with a new pair of high heels instead! hehe.

Here are just a few gorgeous pics to leave with you for the weekend. Enjoy! x

exposed brick inspiration.

I just adore the detailing in the brick work making this interior that little bit extra special.
Mixing exposed brick and plaster work creates an urban edgy feel to this interior. Love the antlers as well!
I think this painted brick wall works really well with the exposed beams.

Exposed brick is just one of the many items on my interior wish list. Here are a few pics that will hopefully inspire you.

never a dull day.

One of the many things I enjoy about living in Brighton is always seeing something new! Today I was out in town purchasing some accessories for a photo shoot I am doing next week and as I walked around the corner there was a dog on a skateboard! Yes a DOG on a skateboard! How cute. x

it's that time of year again.

I have never understood why Christmas adverts and decorations hit the high streets before we have had halloween! However I just came across these cookie cutters and just had to share them! I think they are great what a perfect way to serve tea and biscuits! Now I just need to set an afternoon aside to make them.

tile crazy.

I think these tiles would look super as a feature wall in a lounge!
Image found on Design Lines.

If you live in England like me then you may want to go for a warmer option like this moroccan tile rug.

I love these beautiful blue and white tiles - they create such a romantic feeling!

These moroccan tiles create a bright and stylish splash back.
Found on living etc

I have been going tile crazy and wanted to share these beautiful images with you all.

it's good to be naughty.

A little naughty but I absolutely ADORE this illustration. I really want Tilly to put this design on a mug so it can make me smile every day.

latest work.

Just thought I would post an image from a photo shoot I did recently. This bookcase and dinning table was created by a furniture manufacturer who then asked me to style the interior for their portfolio. So I kept it quite simple and just turned the books the other way round on the shelves to create a neutral look and bring the focus to the furniture. Would love to know what you all think.

knitted food.

I begged and begged my boyfriend to get me this cushion ... and he finally did! I am soooo happy - he could not believe a cushion could be worth £45 but trust me it is! And now this is the one cushion that we fight over when watching a movie! I also LOVE Kate Jenkins knitted food - especially these sardines on toast.

feed the birds.

As part of the London Design Festival Selvage put on a workshop at the V&A where you made your own pigeon. My friend and I got very excited and spent 1 hour making a pigeon - my boyfriend even had a go! I was very impressed with the result of his pigeon especially as it was his first time on a sewing machine - now he can sew his own holes up! hehe.

All the pigeons were then taken down to Trafalgar Square and photographed.

design with cutlery...part 2.

After my post yesterday I decided to research into other homewares inspired by cutlery and came across these gorgeous napkin rings up-cycled from silverware. These can be purchased from JJEvensenArt shop on etsy. Does anyone else have any cutlery inspired homewares?

These hand-printed tea towels by textile designer Joanna are sure to brighten up any kitchen.

life with wallpaper.

I have been helping a friend choose a wallpaper for her bedroom and whilst I was searching for the ideal one I came across so many beautiful papers that I wanted to share them with you all. After lots of testing and sample purchasing we opted for this elegant Ibis wallpaper by Turner Pocock.
This green and white wild flower wallpaper is gorgeous and would look perfect in any bedroom with white floor boards.
This Farrow & Ball wallpaper is a real statement piece in Kimberly Cornelison's hallway - found on design sponge.
I am so impressed with Otto's wallpaper. 'Ohoy' is my favorite. What a talented young boy. You can order the wallpaper in pre-cut lengths to fit your wall exactly.

This door was too pretty to just walk straight past!

marshmallows.

Whilst on the beach we all participated in a Sports Day with several events including; 100m race forward - and one running backward! (this attracted some strange looks from on-looking sunbathers), wheelbarrow race, piggy back race and a stone and spoon race. Then after a great game of rounders we settled on the beach for an evening bbq. A bucket bbq is an essential for any summer holiday - you can buy one of these from Red Candy.

There's nothing like cooking marshmallows over a fire - the tricky bit is not to eat them too fast so that they don't burn your tongue!

love that lasts a lifetime.

Whilst cycling we passed this old couple sitting together looking out to sea. How romantic! I couldn't help myself I just had to take a sneaky pic. x

ship wreck.

Today we took a short ferry ride over to I'lle de Arze and spent the day cycling round the beautiful island. We stumbled across this ship wreck and with a leg up from Garf I managed to scramble on and have a look around. No treasure though!

summer holiday.

Every year a group of friends and I take a trip to France and stay at my parents house. We arrived early this morning and first thing first! A glass of wine and a game of volley ball!
