holiday pics.

As I mentioned in my last post I have been sorting through old pics and thought I would share two of my favorites with you. The first is from when visited my boyfriend, an ecologist, in Guatemala and volunteered with a turtle hatchery - it's a picture of a baby turtle beginning his long journey, heading into the crashing sea. The second was taken with an underwater camera when we were snorkeling as a storm hit us so had to quickly head back to the boat.

marshmallows.

Whilst on the beach we all participated in a Sports Day with several events including; 100m race forward - and one running backward! (this attracted some strange looks from on-looking sunbathers), wheelbarrow race, piggy back race and a stone and spoon race. Then after a great game of rounders we settled on the beach for an evening bbq. A bucket bbq is an essential for any summer holiday - you can buy one of these from Red Candy.

There's nothing like cooking marshmallows over a fire - the tricky bit is not to eat them too fast so that they don't burn your tongue!

ship wreck.

Today we took a short ferry ride over to I'lle de Arze and spent the day cycling round the beautiful island. We stumbled across this ship wreck and with a leg up from Garf I managed to scramble on and have a look around. No treasure though!

summer holiday.

Every year a group of friends and I take a trip to France and stay at my parents house. We arrived early this morning and first thing first! A glass of wine and a game of volley ball!

a trip away.

Well, this is my first blog and I am very excited! I'm not sure how to begin so think I will jump straight in and start with a post!

I have just got back from a weekend away. After 5 1/2 years it was mine and my boyfriends first time ever that we have gone away for a weekend and stayed in a B&B! (we usually camp). We stayed in a gorgeous little cottage close to Lulworth cove and spent the whole of Saturday walking along the cliff top. My boyfriend, an environmentalist, kept taking pictures of flys and other creatures so that he could identify them when he got home! I on the other hand snapped away at the scenery and plants. I just wanted to share some of the beautiful views we saw.
